1) What is the difference between Word documents and PDF documents?
- Word documents are editable while PDF documents are only readable.
2) Why am I not able to edit the document?
- The documents are displayed in read-only mode. Please right click on the document and SAVE the document to your disk in order to edit the Word document. For PDF documents, you need to copy (CTRL-C) and paste (CTRL-V) into a word document.
3) How do I save the document?
- Either double-click or right click on the link and SAVE to your disk.
4) Can I make changes to the PDF document?
- No, PDF documents are not editable.
5) Why am I getting blank pages when I print the PDF document?
- Due to different browsers and printer settings, selecting print from the browser toolbar will give you blank pages since the frames are blank. To print the actual document, please click on the printer icon above the actual PDF document.

- Portable Document Format (Adobe Acrobat).
9) Why can't I view Word documents?
- You do not have the appropriate application, plug-in, or the correct version of Microsoft Word. Please download the Microsoft Word 2000 or higher to view Word documents.
10) Why can't I view PDF documents?
- You do not have the appropriate application, plug-in, or the correct version of Adobe Acrobat. Please download the Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher to view PDF documents.
11) When I open the curriculum in Word, why is the header grayed out?

If you open the document in Word and the header is gray, the curriculum text will be black because the curriculum text is open for you to edit. If you double-click on the header, it will turn black and you will be able to edit it. To go back to edit the curriculum text, double click on the text and it will turn black. The whole document will print in black even though parts of it are grayed out.
